class is intended for handler/dog teams who are preparing to participate in formal dog obedience competitions.
Purpose:
Advanced Obedience class is intended for handler/dog
teams who are preparing to participate in formal dog
obedience competitions.
Content:
Handler/Dog teams will continue to work on commands
learned in the previous classes. Attention will be give
to sharpening the performance and precision of the team
while working in an environment with distractions.
Participants are encouraged to enter competition
practice runs and matches to build confidence in their
ability to perform in a competitive environment.
Competition rules and scoring will be discussed in this
class.
Prerequisite:
Intermediate Obedience class or equivalent expertise and
approval of the instructor.
Length of Class:
Advanced Obedience class is ongoing, once a week for an
hour.
Cost:
$89.00 paid quarterly
